Roland Salem
Co-founder & General Manager
Roland Salem is co-founder and General Manager at Houlul. He is responsible for revenue growth. He brings more than 25 years of experience as an accomplished business leader in Software and Services sales. Before founding Houlul, Roland held many Sales positions at Ericsson, Telcordia, and Aircom International.
He developed an extensive customer base within the Mobile Operators and Enterprise customer in the Middle East and Africa region. Roland holds a Master's degree in Telecommunication and Communications from the University Antonie Lebanon
Elias Sfeir
Co-founder & Vice President Sales & Marketing
Elias Sfeir Graduated from Rutgers University, New Jersey USA in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering.
Elias has been involved in the launch and reorganization of several Mobile operators in the Middle East with solid experience in Network planning and optimization, multivendor and multi-technology environments.
He is an Experienced Regional Sales Director with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Strong sales professional with a strong sales portfolio. Business development. Skilled in 3G, 4G, BSS, Passive/Active Monitoring solutions, Radio and Rollout Business
He was part of the technical leadership team at France Telecom Lebanon in 1995 moved on to offer technical consultancy services in Pakistan.
In 2004 he led consultancy sales and services at Aircom International in Dubai. Before co-founding Houlul, Elias had a vital role in the sales and business development of Astellia solution in the Middle East and Africa.
George Oommen
Vice President -Technical
As a Vice President -Technical, George will provide expert advice & support to create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for wide-scale digital transformations, enterprise architecture development, IT transformation, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Telecom OSS & BSS transformation, aligning with the organisation business goals utilizing emerging technologies.
Working in the region for over 30 years with Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC (Etisalat) UAE, one of the world’s leading telecom groups in emerging markets, George Oommen has built a distinguished record achievement as a Technical Leader in the various management positions he held in his career.
George Oommen holds two Master’s (M.Sc.) Degrees, one in Operations Research & Computer Applications and the other in Statistics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India.
